Collaborations with organizations and companies

The third mission is to foster economic growth, through the transformation of knowledge obtained from research into knowledge aimed at productivity. As such, DISA’s activities are focused on numerous collaborations with bodies and companies, organised according to the following methods:

  • Framework agreement
  • Research contract
  • Research consultancy
  • Teaching performance
  • Transfer of search results
  • Third party tests

The framework agreement expresses the desire for collaboration between the Department and the client in one or more specific areas of activity. Research contracts may be concluded in the implementation of the framework agreements.

Research contracts consist of research activities, pure or applied, governed by contracts with public and private bodies, whose goal is a defined and limited objective both in terms of time and content.

Research consultations concern activities which, on the basis of skills already acquired, lead to the issuance of opinions on technical or scientific problems also with reference to design activities, as well as to the solution of specific problems posed by the client or to the preparation of reports containing test results.

Teaching services concern the organisation and delivery of courses, seminars, conferences and any activity with the aim of teaching, unless it does not fall within the realm of the institution’s activity.

Transfers of research results consist of making available to an external contractor the results already acquired from research or study.
